What could be better than Bloody Marys and Greek Salad poolside for an early lunch? Having Bloody Marys and Greek Salad surrounded by "beautiful people." The bar off the mens clubby castle lobby hang out spot is a cute location for a photo shoot

this place is sort of hard to find cuz the only sign you see is for a mexican restaurant. once inside it does kind of look like a bordello, its all red and leathery inside and all the bartenders wear lingerie and leather. pretty damn hot if you ask me. the drinks are mighty stiff! and they play live music. not the kind of live music i like but live music none the less. how about some reo speed wagon? or some atlantic star huh? the place bottle necks around the bar for some reason but near the stage is a lot of room. its a really DOPE spot. what you know about the word DOPE Aunny D!

This gets five stars because I was dragged by Welsh band Super Furry Animals here after a show at the Roxy. And they forced me to have fun. Just like many pseudo-UK bars around town, this Irish bar has just enough charm to make you feel like you've left the country for a minute. Then you meet the patrons. Whenever I was dragged out by Buckhead-loving friends I begged to go to Fado so I could at least have a drink or two in semi-peace. But when SFA was told Fado was down the street, they opted to go, and I had no choice but to follow my lads there. We had a nice night out, talking about random stuff and pretty much being left alone by the patrons as it was a week night and no one was feeling super crazy. I had a long convo with Cian about our shared veg-ism, and kept the ladies off of Gruff (seems to be my job whilst he is in town.) But I would go there again, with SFA or without, but you better be good company to see me in that part of town again! Yeah, I'll be at the Local before I venture further out .
