by Janet S. on this restaurant was all over the place. 1. its beautiful. the inside decor is so clean and pretty, the outside cabana patio areas are lush and make for a great get together venue. 2. they could NOT get any orders right. they could not get any of the steak orders right - for the price, if a medium is ordered i should get a medium with pink not completely well done!! i felt HORRIBLE but i sent it back 3 times. this is the first time i sent anything back to a kitchen. 3. they have amazing wine. 4. the crowd is all over the place too from old to young. whites to amernians. i dont know about coming back to this place for food, but maybe for drinks after work? although trekking to glendale from century city might not be worth it.
by Alla S. on Everything about this club was nothing special. We walked up around 10 on a friday night and there was already a huge line that wasn't moving. Luckily we are 5 hot ladies so we got escorted in after about 5 minutes. Didn't pay cover. The club was empty, (although, it did fill up quickly). Went to the bar and the bartender, (Stephanie), was super attentive and made great drinks. She continued to be awesome all night. The decor was nothing special. LA has a lot of competing clubs so I'm surprised this so called hot spot was so....blah. totally non descript. Music started of weird, (random 90s songs). Then there was a band that clearly was at the wrong venue. They belonged on the hipster east side because no one at Opera was interested in hearing them play. After the band was done the DJ really picked it up and the music was great. Basically this is the sort of place where you make your own fun. I had tons of fun because of the people i was with and the fact that we got tons of free drinks, (from random guys). The fun had nothing to do with the club. PROS: great bathrooms, good bartenders, perfect amount of people inside. CONS: average decor, average music, line
by Albert Cherrez on within the first few moments, i was lucky enough to meet the owner, his son, and one of the best cobb salads in years. the four stars represents everything at san francisco but the baked goods, as which i have not yet tried. if the bakery is as good as everything else, i will update the four to five. the entire staff was very warm and friendly and you could instantly tell there were regulars all around. the owner, who had his son strapped in a baby sling, came around to all the tables. some he would sit and chat and others would just check to make sure all was well. this is what a neighbor hood bakery feels like and not a person left or came in without being greeted or told goodby. do rememer to bring cash as they do not accept plastic. thank you rateclubsers for helping me discover a gem behind the ugly cvs.
