We used to like going to T&G when it was in Buckhead, before the area became the best place to film the latest episode of COPS and ultimately shut down. Now that we've been to the new place at Lindbergh Station a few times, I have to say we really love it. The main circular bar area doesn't offer much to see or do, and the constant industrial/electronic beats on a loop in that room can get really annoying. But, if you head to the back where they have the little dance floor (emphasis on small - but intimate) it's a blast. We've had so much fun dancing at T&G on Friday or Saturdays. And the DJ (MP3J) actually spins popular radio music you hear everyday that people love to dance to and know all the words.

Was wondering out in the Village one (I think it was) Sunday night.  All I wanted was to sit, have a few drinks and enjoy the gift that is live music.  We passed the door of the Back Fence, and alas I hear music.  My cousin and I meandered on it.  Place was pretty much empty, save for a couple dudes at the bar and some college kids sipping their beers at a table.  So we grabbed a seat towards the front and checked out the artist.  My cousin and I are both musicians so we tend to analyze this stuff probably a little too much.  Have to say tho,  we were both impressed by the girl playing.  At one point one of the fairly naive college girls yelled out "play Layla," to which she was answered with "No."  The girl onstage then started playing a Jewel cover and the college girls said "oh I love this song!"  And the girl playing replied rather smugly "I thought you would."  Good stuff. Haven't had a chance to head back, but if this random visit is indicative of the talent they have there, then go!  You can thank me later.

I have the relative maturity of a 13 year old boy so anything with video games and wings typically ranks high on my list of favorite haunts. Jillians offers tons of video games a good ticket-prize ratio and alcohol every 10 feet. If I weren't married I imagine it'd be a good place for a date (remember ladies, 13 y/o). The real reason I'm giving them 3 stars though is their imposter Fire and Ice Restaurant. We went to a Fire and Ice in Tahoe and its improvisational dining (read: American Mongolian BBQ) rocked our world. The folks at Jillians (read: Dave & Busters) call it the Market Grill but it's exactly like a Fire and Ice. The only problem is that the service sucks and they're missing some key ingredients from the buffet. Moreover, the salad bar makes the Sizzler look like the Ritz.
