Geno's is not the best, I'm sorry people, they are most definitely the coolest looking cheese steak spot in Philly no doubt about that, but their steak meat is kinda bland, and yeah, Pat's across the street is better, if you don't believe me do a steak by steak comparison and find out for your self... And oh yeah, THEY ARE RACIST as hell...sorry not my shtick, but i still gave em 3 stars so you know I'm not hate'n that hard....

My girlfriend and I tried to make a reservation for dinner the morning we wanted to go, but they were already booked from 5:30-11:30. We just showed up on the off-chance that a table would be available - it wasn't. So, we decided just to sit in the (INCREDIBLY crowded) lounge area to get some drinks and order some sushi. I don't remember what kind of sushi we got, but it wasn't good enough to blow my mind. It was pretty average, honestly. The drinks were actually far superior to the sushi. We were lucky enough to find some international business men to buy us drinks the entire night, and I can safely assure you that most of their martinis are delicious. :)

Wow, I can't believe how harsh you guys are about this place. Sure the service isn't yet quite what it should be. I was there on Valentines and it was way slow, but it was their first night. When the food did come out it was delicious. But being in the restaurant business I know how hard it is to make everything come together just right. I can forgive the opening kinks. But what these guys are trying to do is really commendable. First of all the investment they made to offer the gay community another great place to go was huge. (It has certainly raised the property value of Trunks) and if there were any unsanitary conditions the health dept would have never let them open. As far as the drinks, they are still way under the Abbey's 13 dollar martini and the bathroom has its own uniqueness. I get what these guys are trying to do and for one feel they have accomplished their goals. It will take time to find their identity but in the meantime I will continue to make Eleven one of my watering post for the night. Way to go Eleven! My arms are open wide and I welcome you to West Hollywood!
