The bouncers are nice guys too! unfortunately i will no longer be going here, unless it's a special event or something. anyway, here's my story Fact - it's a recession, but i still want to party so one of my cutbacks are buying cheaper alcohol. instead of my usual ketel or makers drinks, i go with jack n coke. cant go wrong. another one of my cutbacks (since this is the most simplest drink anyone can ever make) is tipping. I usually tip 2 bucks for a JnC, but for now it's $1. The drink costed me 9 bucks, i gave the bartender a $10. he looks at me and says "Dont come back" Goddamn hollywood bartenders need to just shut up. Thousands of people come to this club every wknd. in the end of the night ive spent quite a few bucks, and bartender dude came up a few bucks. over it
by Molly Marcon on My friends and I have been going to lounges that played hip hop and club music, so we wanted to change the scenery and experience some oldies. Thus we went to Starlight. The band that was playing Friday night was absolutely fantastic and specializes in oldies music. The DJ spinned various music during the break ranging from Hip Hop to 80s disco, which were really easy to dance to. We danced for 4 hours straight with the view of the beautiful city as back drop. Overall, we had a blast. True that the decor and the ambiance were not really my taste, but I love the crowd in this place. People were there to have a good time, which we did.
