by Fabian Butaud on Been to this place twice...once was a local hip hop/rap night on a Friday and the other was the Common concert. Both give me immense hope for this place as it gains more support. The sound system for Common was awesome and I loved how intimate it felt being that close. Granted it got super hot and sweaty, but what else do you expect. The Friday night I went was so rad and there was plenty of space to dance to awesome Bay Area rap! I don't particularly remember the drinks other than they did the job and I got a nice buzz dancing. When I make the move I will definitely make Mezzanine part of the rotation, especially since Seattle dance/music venue scene has been pretty disappointing. Yay for Mezzanine!
