The mojitos here are phenomenal!!! I had coconut and my boyfriend had pineapple. We both loved ours, but I can easily say the coconut was one of the best drinks I have ever had in my life. And the food was excellent as well. I definitely recommend the pork quesadillas with mole sauce, the fish tacos, and the lamb chops. And definitely don't skip dessert! They offer bite size desserts for $1 each with a four piece minimum. The cookie sandwich and brownie with mint ice cream were super delicious. The staff was very friendly as well!

Remember that time you were dancing and drunk and too young to know better than to give your real number to the creepy old man who kept trying to grind on you and then you spent the next six months ignoring sporadic and disturbing phone calls? No? Liar. Anyway, it probably happened here. Friday night dance party is always a good time. They play the kind of songs that you know all the words to but really wish you didn't. I have had some good times here over the years, but there is always this feeling of bitter disappointment when I realize this is where the night is heading. Nothing ever changes. Hard dancing and spilled beers. Michael Jackson pretty much every 3 songs. The love/hate relationship with dancefloor creeps. The cover is dumb, and the inside is not built for dancing. But dance anyway, because peer pressure isn't always a bad thing. If i ever find myself missing the single-life, a night at the phoenix erases that feeling mad quickly.

Holy @$$ Butter this place is good! I really need to try this on an empty tank though. I was at Thirsty Bear right before we showed up here and was full of strong beer and tapas, so the trip was a bit spoiled. But still ate some of the goods... and how! The only reason why I bugged out on this place were the bouncers outside fopr the night club. C'mon captian clipboard, your not that important. So you got a job just becasue you're tall and fat. Way to go! ... great food though.
