First time here. Took a friend that was visiting from Iowa. If you've not been there, it's full chain restaurants, fast casual and an locally owned 'diner'. We were seated quickly. The place was about 3/4ths full Monday 1/18 at about 9pm. Sandwiches are great. The deep fried pickles are awesome. Little expensive for a burger, but it's ground fresh. Service was great. Little noisy for my taste. The Nutella Burnt Marshmellow shake is to die for.

I'm told this is the 2nd oldest bar in the city, we walked past the 1st oldest on our way to Burp Castle. It had a great vibe, Hooegaarden on tap (my new favorite beer), and the smallest bathroom ever, so cute! Wish we had stayed longer since the rest of our night was a bust, but we stuck to our one drink maximum.

The Dragonfly was the first venue our band ever played, and the only one we ever came back to. I really liked the way this place operated, and the promoter was really cool (as long as you gave him his money up front -- and in cash). The stage was spacious enough for a couple shuffles to either side, which helps. I'm not a huge fan of the PA system or the sound guy, but there are ways around that. The lighting is fixed, so don't expect anything too fancy there. Probably the coolest thing about this venue is the open air bar, out back. This is a great place to chill out before you play, and a great place to meet and greet afterwards. Particularly if you're dripping with sweat. You know how it is.
