I love the atmosphere and the music was off the chain! 4 different rooms of music for your taste. You have the main room that holds a good 1 thousand folks that plays remixed music, another room of dance + hip hop, another of spanish rock music, and another that plays remixes of all. Bars Bars Bars! All over!! Be prepared to pay 7 dollars a drink though, I didn't care plus my lovely friends kept buying me drinks left to right. I shaked my booty all night long and sweated my pores out. Drinks did not affect me for one bit! Highlights of course has to be the Lady Gaganess! The boys were going crazy and singing when they would play her songs. I felt like Carrie in Sex & The City when her and Stanford would have their club outings and she would just carry her cosmopolitan while dancing. I adored this club! Thank you Circus Disco main floor D.J for playing WHOOMP There It Is! old school 90's! I instantly thought about my thread on rateclubs referring to 'name a song from the 90's you will never forget" I mentioned Whoomp There It Is! and wala it got played for me..
by Tanner Fordyce on So, normally my Halo stories don't end very well... tonight was a great exception and that's quite an accomplishment considering that I went with a group of friends that all work at The Cheetah. I don't mean to imply that strippers get into trouble.. well, maybe I do mean to imply that. Regardless, tonight was amazing. I use the word amazing with slight hesitation because for something to be amazing, it really has to be an event. I met my friend Allison here after she invited me to see Tiffany perform. No, not the Tiffany you're thinking of - although she's apparently very famous in Asia. :) The crowd was very mixed (gay, straight, whatever, black, white, whatever, etc) and Tiffany sang pretty much all night. She didn't do any cover songs and she basically felt her way through the beats that the DJ was playing. Incredible voice! A completely wonderful night and I met tons of great people. Since I doubt I can replicate the evening I don't know when I'll be back, but at least now I know that there is fun to be had.
by Kirby O. on While I was waiting in line to see Voxtrot yesterday this homeless man came up to me and my 2 male friends, asked which one of them I "belonged" to, and proceeded to lecture them on why men should treat beautiful women right so our babies would fulfill the prophecies of Venus. We were also offered weed and "Herbal Essences for our hairs" by various street vendors. I love San Francisco. So they finally opened the doors and it was a great show! If you have a good spot in line you can be right up on the stage all in the band's shit! This place looks like a little opera house, it's gorgeous! They book hella good acts. Security and staff are nice people. I approve.
