by Shawn Z. on Through my eyes, as a photographer: "Wonderland", a whimsical, dramatic playground with a loose theme on Alice in Wonderland. I knew the youthful concept would appeal to a mass audience in LA and a lot of fun designing and bringing it to life. The entire space was meant to be very playful and bright. A lot of fun with color and explored so many bright, vibrant tones that heightened the senses but also would have longevity and not look dated years from now. Cranberry reds, deep purples, bright golds and splashes of fun textures to add depth. The gold AstroTurf ceilings and the mushrooms hanging from the ceilings are design details It was fun to look at the creation of a magical venue from my own eyes, interpretation of the infamous and totally over the top movie.
by Ron L. on The food is "ok", but the atmosphere and feel of the place are the major draws for me. The swanky Rat Pack interior is the biggest thing I dig about this place.
by Newton Phanco on I don't know if the bartender mixed up my tab or was just super nice, but I ordered three pints of Fat Tire and a 24oz Sapporo on a Friday night and the tab came out to $15!!! I couldn't believe it. This place is pretty cool, filled with white-collar young folk after work. From what I could see, it was more of a bar than a gallery. But I actually liked the work, which was surprising as I have rather particular art sensibilities. Bartenders were friendly, atmosphere was cool, drinks were cold. 5 stars.
