by Brittany T. on Prana blew away my expectations! The food was unique, gorgeous, and absolutely delicious. The scallops, chicken satay and potstickers were out of this world! So juicy, favorful, and mouth-watering! The salads were fresh. The drinks were stiff. The waitresses were genuinely helpful and kind. It was a fantastic experience for our large party of 15! They know whats up and this is a unique, trendy location that turns into a top-notch sold out nightclub after 10pm, so make your dinner reservations now while you have the chance, because you might just end up standing in line waiting for dinner, like the clubbers do at night, once everyone finds out just how good the food really is! YUM!
by Earle Nesland on I've been coming to this place for 20 years. The quality hasn't faltered. There is a lot of history behind this place and it's definitely worth coming to. I had my reunion with the Varsity last year and I was in fast food heaven. It tastes good. Of course it wouldn't be special if you ate there everyday. Of course it's not healthy to eat there everyday. It's not like you're being enlightening by saying it's greasy. It deserves the highest of ratings because it does greasy food better than anyone else. It's definitely special. It's not fine dining, it's greasy guilty/pleasure food. I've been here with many people and everybody agrees that the taste is beyond any fast food out there. When you're in the moment where you get to indulge long suppressed cravings for chili-cheese-slaw dogs, the whole world fades into the background and it's just you and your Varsity food.
