by gEe C. on Why did I feel like I was on a a Predator's spaceship when I entered this place? Not to say it was tacky or anything, but the only word that I can describe this place as of right now is, "Otherworldly." So, I came here for a friend's birthday party last month. They rented the private room in the back of the lounge and I gotta say, it wasn't all too bad. Both the servers and the service were on point that night. Can't complain. I was pretty impressed! And that light-up menu was pretty killer too. Oh, and the FOOD was DELISH!!! Yum. Yum. Yum. So, I ain't gonna lie, I was trying to hold out on the food because it was kinda on the expensive side. And you know it was the holidays, so I was broker than broke at the time. I wasn't trying to order anything on a grand scale. But, DAMN! As soon as I was offered some of the dishes that the group ordered (sharing is caring folks) I couldn't hold out anymore. I ordered me the sliders and OMFG!! It was juicy and melt in my mouth G-O-O-D. I think, I ordered some noodles too. Hella forgot what they were called, but it was also good. SO. . . The food here definitely gets the thumbs up from me. My belly was about to pop out of my skirt, since i was stuffin' my face like no tomorrow. As far as the nightlife, it was a fairly good mixture of people, but the songs were EHHH. Im a Hip-Hop girl, but the night we came they were playing "Spaceship music." Ya know, Techno and House. . Yea. Not really feelin' it. Oh yea. Just a note, they have a unisex bathroom. Very interesting, indeed. But, overall this place was pretty cool. I liked it!
by Sarah E. on This place is GREAT. There are a million different kinds of martinis to try, and the service is spectacular. I suggest the caramel apple martini - it's my favorite. But all of them really pack a punch, if you know what I mean. :) The owner of the place is working there regularly, and he's a genuinely sweet guy. The piano in the back is great, too, and sometimes they have really talented, entertaining folks playing. Now that I'm talking about it, I realize I should go there more often.

I don't know how many people went, but it was waaay crowded -- so much so that you could hardly move around the space, much less get to the food and drink. I ate a couple of slices of pizza and a springroll, and then I'd had it with the crush and the noise of the music. Couldn't even really talk to people. But the thing that really bugged me, I guess, was that I wasn't really in the mood to drink. And despite an open bar, they didn't have any non-alcoholic beer, and I was left to a Coke or soda water and fruit juice. I didn't feel like fighting the noise and crowd to drink Coke. While the event side was packed -- I did like the area with the really high ceilings, old glass windows, and trees, which had lights on them -- the main side was much more mellow. I imagine that the event will spill over there eventually, but the main bar was much more manageable, and the dining room looked solid. The bathrooms are downstairs off the main room, not the event space, and there's a man in there who'll call you "buddy," turn on the taps for you, and give you Chiclets. The urinals are way old and quite large.
