by Lisette E. on After Barracuda my friends and I hit this place up for drinks. It was a Sunday night so pretty slow but the place still had a really cool vibe and the bartender was awesome! We told her what we liked and she surprised us with some pretty awesome drinks. Her take on a Mai Tai was the best I've had since having a real Mai Tai in Hawaii. =) I would definitely stop in for a drink if you are in the neighborhood. Good ambiance, good music and comfortable.
by Felix C. on The decor is a bit kitschy but that seems to be unintentional. Amusingly, it seems like they just wanted to decorate each area consistently yet cheaply. I am always amazed when I go into a diner and see such a broad selection of items. The menu ranges from the standard breakfast items (omelettes, eggs benedict, pancakes, and waffles) to lasagna, spaghetti, pizza, and stuffed grape leaves. How can they do all of those varied items so well? Personally, I'd like more focus and specialization so you know they have fewer, better items. The stuffed grapes leaves appetizer was the best item we had. The lamp wrap and eggs florentine were run-of-the-mill. The place hasn't been open that long so they may be working through some kinks. But between the size of the menu and the hours (Open 24 hours) it is hard to see how they could have consistently good food.
by Hye Peffly on The promoters at this establishment definitely know how to keep the party hot. The crowd was beautiful, stiff drinks, good music, and a nicely sized dance floor. It looks pretty much like the same crowd as Les Deux minus the creepy "too old to be trying to pick up on 20-somethings" men. I wouldn't recommend going unless you know you are going to get in because they won't let you in, and it doesn't matter how hot you are. They get minus one star because the bartender made my drink wrong. My first pineapple and greygoose was ICK. It tasted like a long island and I do not like those. Otherwise I had a wonderful time.
