by Mel V. on It's a huge room with Japanese decor and flying ladies from the ceiling. There was a $15 cover and the drinks were very expensive. (Between $11-13). The crowd is not my style. Will not be back.
by Bronwyn Strnad on Do I really need to review this place? I get annoyed just thinking about this place so just imagine how I get if I think about going to Slide again. The first time someone walks into this place the reaction is always the same "ooh a slide, this place MUST BE cool". The reality unfortunately doesn't live up to the hype. I remember a bouncer coming over to my friends and I at 1:25am saying, "you have five minutes to finish your drink" (even though we had literally just being served another round of expensive cocktails). Five minutes later this bouncer on a power trip comes back and yanks the drinks away. The fact that this guy was so rude about asking us to finish our drinks was bad but add to that the fact that this place kicks people out way too early is ridiculous. It get super crowded and hot here on Friday and Saturday nights and you'll likely have to fight really hard to get a drink. To their credit though they do play some really good music, hence the two stars.
