by Tim W. on Wow, one of the best bowling "ally's" i've ever been to! I'm impressed, plus if you "like" them on facebook, they'll give you a card for 2 free games. Inside is a ton of lanes, a lot of nice bars and lounges. They have a dress code so get out your sunday best.

Came here after pole dancing class one night and I must say any place that gives me margaritas that large and doesn't water them down is a okay for me... But only if you're looking to chill .. And don't mind the annoying smoking inside
by Louis Cecot on I haven't been to the new location yet (I am going tonight) but am laughing because so many reviewers below seem to think that the Knitting Factory's "old location" is Leonard Street. Folks, that's only its "previous" location. For ages before that, the Knitting Factory was located on Houston Street in the space that is now inhabited by Botanica. Will update tomorrow with my thoughts on this latest incarnation. ... OK, so I liked the new setting although the front bar was VERY cold! we had to keep our coats on. Also, for the person below who said there are only 3 unisex bathrooms: untrue. There are indeed those bathrooms at the back of the room with the main stage, but there are also normal M&W multistall bathrooms in the hall leading there. Sound was good but they need to work on the lights they turn on between acts; they blind anyone standing at the bar.
