Woodfire Grill restored my faith in fine dining. From the superbly executed service to the food -- course after course of perfection -- we could not have ended our day any better. The scallop dish was superb, the quail was delightful, and their pastry chef totally deserves a raise -- the chocolate cherry cake was beyond! If I lived in Atlanta, I would go there at least once a week. In fact, the meal we had at the Woodfire Grill may be one of the top reasons that I will return to the ATL.

First let me say that my only experience on the Frying Pan was a disaster of a drunk night. I headed here after a work party, not having a clue where I was or why Brooklyn looked so dark. I was then told that we were on the Hudson, and I was looking at Jersey. ANYHOO - I remember over priced beers, a rather young crowd (and by young, I mean that I felt old) and slippery floors. I took a couple of nice spills between decks. I'd go back though. I'm curious to see it sober.

We went here for New Year's and it was awesome. It was $30 for the Bootie party, which is way cheaper than many of the other New Year's Events going on and the music was a really good mix. This party (Bootie) was a mashup of alternative and hip-hop, Fan-freakin'-tastic. The drinks were fairly strong, but since my boyfriend was paying for them, I don't know if they were pricey. Really liked the venue and the great mix of people. Don't know if I would ever walk there alone however. HAPPY NEW YEAR'S!
