by sherrie n. on this location has changed faces numerous times in the past few years, and as a result i've never been interested to try it. however i noticed it got a face lift, and then my bf told me they do reverse happy hour, so we gave it a try. we sampled quite a food few items. the fried coconut shrimp wontons with cream cheese were really good and crunchy, but i didn't taste that much shrimp. also tried the austin roll with salmon tuna and escolar; very good and fresh, def get this roll! the shrimp crunch roll was pretty good, but nothing out of the ordinary. i liked the gyoza and it came with pickled veggies which were a great complement. the sweet potato fries with sweet chilli sauce are pretty amazing, thick cut and crispy. Beautiful restaurant and bar area. Very trendy and nice to see reverse happy hour with good food at a great price. Great service - friendly, good recs, fast. parking is tough in this area, but you can at least go out after!
by Chan K. on I went here for a concert, the downstairs. The place is cool. Very clean place but just okay beer selection (I don't remember seeing any PBRs). Not a big place so no matter where you were, you had a good view of the band. I also thought the ambiance was great. I be willing to go back. I heard Monday nights for open mic nights are fun.
by Vida Haaga on Thoroughly enjoyed myself here on NYE. Good mix of music. Love that the smoking patio thing is nice and cool so you can cool down after sweatin' it up on the crowded dance floor. Also, love that my white girl dancing skills that were considered barely passable at clubs in DC are actually above average here. Every time I go dancing in SF its such an ego boost. There are some awkward white people out on those floors lol.
