by EJ A. on went here last night since a friend of mine told me about it so i thought i'd give hollywood clubbing a shot...here's the break down. THE PLACE ( as everyone puts it) is "AZN" GHETTO Fabolous.. $10 Parking- (had to park 3 blocks away on hollywood, "The Classic" parking area, b/c I didnt want to waste $15-$20 on parking nearby) $20 Cover- I was like wtf? I'm 24 why the hell would I need to pay this much? $5 Beer $10 Mixed Drink- Filled with ice. Music was decent, but the crowd...wow...ghetto... highly not recommended if you're over 21....
by Olivia G. on This place is convenient to my work place... but the service isn't worth it. I've been here once for the nightclub experience and it was okay. But happy hour is ridiculous. They neglected to mention as we sat at the bar that there was a private party so we weren't getting any attention because of it..
by Stefany Gorden on This Place SUCKS! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! So, with that, like many others before me, I started a Rateclub account just to rag on what a horrible place Suite 181 is. When I went for the first time 3 years back, I had a great old time and the place reminded me of PURE in Las Vegas. So, I went back a couple of times. My buddy who runs a promotional club kept telling me not to go back. Everytime I did things just got worse and worse. The service of the club just degressed and the crowd attracted more and more ghetto people. Once was a classy club in a bad part of town has now become a classles club in the classles part of SF. The final straw happened on Halloween. We showed up at 9 to get in on the guest list and after 2 hours of waiting were no closure to getting in. One of my buddies got in with a couple of guys that kept complaining to the manager that they've been waiting forever. We thought he was lucky, but after gettin sucker punched in the club and thrown out afterwards, maybe he was not so lucky after all to go in. The rest of us ended up going to another club and had a great time. Summary: (Go to this club if you want) -not to get in under guest list and pay 20 dollar cover -to watch people constantly cut in front of you straight from the street or from a party bus -to get shot, stabbed, or both while waiting in line (friend saw it and is still traumatizied) -to get harassed by Bouncers that IE: can't find a real job, dropped out of college, high school, got kicked out of military, or can't become a professional athlete. ALl those reason lead to why those bouncers hate life -to get into a fight because the crowd is so classy
