Unless they change the new door girl this place will not last that much longer. The key to any successful new york night club is to have a door guy/girl that know the who's who of nyc, the socialite's and the jetsetters, especially since that's the patrons they claim they want. I get in and I turned around to see a very famous socialite being rejected because she was told she had to wear heals to enter the club.BOOM they had no idea they just rejected a person whose net worth is of a medium sized country. If your targeting a certain A list crowd, boy you better learn to recognize who they are or else you will be left with an empty club. And thats exactly what we encountered when we entered. so we paid for our bottle left and went to boom boom

This is my first, official rateclubs review. Go me! This past weekend a couple of girlfriends and I had ladies' night here. After reading the reviews I was a little scared there would be some drama at the door, but no such thing! I'm convinced that the trick for an easy-in at some of these Hollywood clubs is to simply get to the place early. We arrived at the venue at 10pm and there wasn't even a line. We name dropped the promoter I knew and walked right in (although I think at 10pm you could still breeze through without knowing a promoter). You first step into Bar210 and at around 1030pm they open the curtains to the back area of the venue--Plush Lounge. There wasn't a strict velvet rope or anything. By midnight or so the entire place was PACKED. The crowd was diverse, the bartenders and wait staff pleasantly friendly. At some point in the night we had a serious case of the munchies and ordered sliders and truffle oil french fries at Bar210. So good! Soooo good that we couldn't pull ourselves away from stuffing our faces to save our friend from "that" guy. Our bad ;) Clubbing sometimes is such a big ordeal, I know. But, if you come with the right attitude, pre-drink (a lot) beforehand, and arrive early with a happy mood, then you're set for an entertaining night!

This is kind of sad - but went on a Friday night... at around midnight. The place was empty! Sooo sad since I can see so much potential - if only the weirdos kept out. Sadly had to pay a $10 cover just to stay and walk around for a whole half hour. Why the hell do these clubs charge cover when NO ONE IS INSIDE? Ugh. Anyway - I give it 3 stars since the actual venue isn't bad, just... the people. It's like an old person rave.
