by s g. on Given 1 choice to go out? This is my spot. The music is generally awesome and the talent this place pulls given its size, is incredible. Most nights, it is waaaayyy too expensive to get in, and the drinks are overpriced (but this is NY, so that should come as no surprise and should not be a complaint - just a fact). Once inside? I have never been disappointed.
by Wesley Quinley on Gotta say this is a great space, open and plenty of window frontage. I attended an event and was really impressed on all levels. The crowd was a great mix. I guess the type of crowd is going to depend on the event being conducted at the time. I must have stumbled on a good night because the DJs were tight. I especially loved the dj table that was suspended from the ceiling by some industrial wire... that was tight. I found the art on this night to provide a good mixture of different genres. Although I must confess I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. Another plus was reasonable beer prices... during happy hour we enjoyed $3 beers... good place to start off as we were headed to club6...now that's a quite a contrast in venues but I'll save that for my rateclub of club 6.
