Great for lunch, dinner, or whatever, dancing, drinking, you name it they got it...
by Kyung Hiatt on I finally went to Ecco on Sunday night. The decor is stylish and comfortable. We sat at one of the booths near the bar and the leather was buttery and so very comfortable. Ecco has a wonderful selection of wine and I love that their menu is so flexible that you can do a bunch of delightful small plates or partake in a delectable sounding entree. We opted for the mussels, grilled squid and the shrimp. Everything was extremely delicious. The squid were tender and had a smoky flavor from the grill. They were topped off with an olive tapenade which was really good and complimented the smoky flavor well. Luckily, my friend despises olives so I basically had the squid to myself. : -) It was a great experience. I look forward to going back and sitting on the patio when the weather gets warmer. As an aside, I can't remember what occupied that building years before Ecco. It was once a club but I'm blanking on the name and it is driving me up a wall
