by Aislinn E. on The reason why I am giving them only 3 stars is because of the following: I had a friend lose her jacket there and the workers were less than ideal in dealing with the situation, my eggs were Extra runny with my meal, BUT I did however have a GREAT time with my friends, the bottomless mimosas had us at HELLO and the music was cool while eating. Some workers at this place were cool to deal with, others weren't so pleasant, but I enjoyed myself, great for groups, this place does get crowded QUICK but I will most likely be back ordering something different off the food menu. I do encourage all to go during brunch, because those jump start shots + bottomless mimosas + good friends + Food + Good music = EXCELLENT CONCLUSION to anybodies weekend! 1/25/2011 After U got the blow by blow as to what happened to my friend I have very disappointed in how they handle the situation....I am cool off of this spot for a while, until they get it together!
by Michael P. on This was a great find. My friends took me here for my birthday and it was the first visit for all of us. They offer a variety of oysters, however they all tasted the same to me. With that said, the food was very good.
by Hobert Lloyd on Clubs are not really my thing - but when I heard that DJ Premiere (he works with Gang Starr, JayZ, DJ Guru - tons of others) was playing and I could get in halfprice since one of my friends knows someone who knows someone - AND when I ended up dancing right next to SPIKE LEE for half of the evening - I gotta say I had a blast. DJ Premier knows the best music to dance to - seriously. Every song that came on - I was like - WOW I love this song (and again - I'm not a clubber). Good mix of classic hip hop, stuff from the 90s, Motown throw-backs, and more recent hits. As for the other people there - it was a mixed bag. I'm more of the dive-bar, coffee-shop kind of woman and apparently didn't know that wearing boots and long sleeves is a no-no in clubs (so hot!). And when I heard the sparkley-topped women in the bathroom talking in high-pitched "ohmygodliketotally!" tones, I was a bit afraid. But I came with a group of friends and my boyfriend and had fun dancing with all of them - and they had fun dancing with some of the other people there too - so it wasn't as bad as I originally feared. Apparently, I need to buy a minidress for the next time I go to a place like this. Also - there were acrobatic women in sequined leotards swinging and doing twists and flips in sheets from the ceiling the whole time. Novel and interesting to say the least. 4 stars!
