by Clyde Vautier on Nice venue, pretty big for an SF lounge/bar and could probably host a nice small show with maybe 250+ people - unless you were one of the 10,000 people who showed up for last night's Digg live showing. CASH only at the bars (they have two here), but they have an ATM inside. This place needs a better selection of beer! Meh on the pale ale. I was here last night solely for a chance to finally meet my crush Kevin Rose and get a picture with him. And guess what?! I got what I wanted! The show they had here kicked ass! It got uber hot in here and the fact that I was standing next to some fanboy who didn't believe in deodorant made my experience a little sour. Anyway, Kevin and Alex are both genuinely nice guys, if I were in their shoes I'd get annoyed suuuper fast from all the people grabbing and wanting attention and taking pictures. Thank goodness they're really nice and love their public! Overall: good choice for a place to host DiggNation show, I'd totally give the show 5 stars - bartenders could've done a better job at pretending to like their job though. Assholes. Hence they I get 3 for the crappy attitude and poor selection of beer. P.S. Diggnation episode #148, you can kinda see me on 1:06 right next to the big guy with glasses (I'm reeeally short btw).
by mullacc .. on Best burger in town. Easily. The sweet potato fries are great too. I think burger-purists will have a hard time getting past the modern decor and scenester crowd, but I count all that on the plus side. I've never been treated poorly or felt uncomfortable. But the burger is so good that I'd even compare it favorably to national-renowned burgers like those at Corner Bistro and the Shake Shack in New York. And the late hours are great too.
