I went to this place for my company holiday party. I would say my experience was fun, but nothing to recommend my friends for a really great time. Service at the bar was quick. There are only 2 floors a I like the barstands. The appetizers and dinner isn't appealing but useful only if you are really hungry. The DJ played a plethora of mix music and the dancing was wild once the alcohol was kicking in to their system.

Slide was a much classier venue than I expected. The place is named, after all, for the giant slide designed to expose the nether regions of its short-skirted patrons. I mean, that's intentional, right? The interior is pretty nice, clean and well decorated, and I like that there is no cover. I didn't order any drinks, having already taken a cocktail at Bourbon & Branch after puking earlier in the evening, so I got out of Slide for exactly $0.00. I even eschewed coat check and found a little ledge near the dance floor where I stashed my stuff where I could keep an eye on it. The place was crowded and hot and the house music wasn't awesome, but my friends and I had a lot of fun. The dance floor was busy, but we found a clear spot and had a great time. I will note that we came with three guys and three girls, and it was crucial that we got ourselves stamped early on in the night. We came before 10 PM and left for Bourbon & Branch, after which we came back and got to avoid the long line. With just a little bit of planning, Slide was a fun, hassle-free spot, and I would recommend it for a night out.

My date and I arrived early on a Thursday evening to an empty house and were promptly seated in I'm guessing the bow of the boat. The music, decor, and service were wonderful - the food not so much. It was just OK, nothing to write home about but not terrible; my main issue being the ratio of portion size to the price. All in all if you're looking for an interesting place to bring a date then this is the place for you but the next time I'm in the mood for fondue I'll being sticking to The Melting Pot.
