I've been here both with a couple people and a group of around 50. In both cases, the staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. After living in New Orleans for a couple years I was stoked to find a place like this. I love all the decorations and the patio is really cute. I'm to allergic seafood and not a big fan of traditional NOLA fare (I know, I know...), so I had the burger and it was good, but I can't comment on how the rest of their food translates for people who are connoisseurs of Big Easy cooking. It's nice a place to hang at during lunch and have a break from work. I'm still eternally on the search for a place in Atlanta with beignets. Especially since Huey's closed less than a week after I moved to Atlanta!

Haven't eaten here but I've been a handful of times for late night drinks with friends. I do like this bar's location and their $8 long islands, despite the expense, will get your night started right. Friendly bartenders and there's a pool table in the back (I suck at pool). Other than that, not much of a scene.

This sports bar is a great place to chill, play pool, and work on that anti-tan (you know, where your skin turns ghostly pale from lack of sun). But come during the off season when there is NOT a sporting event or big party. Staff is friendly and professional, the whole interior is clean including the bathrooms, there are lots of beers on tap and even a few good ones, and the food is crisp and fresh and pleasing even if they use every trick in the book (like lots of sugar in the salad dressing) to make it taste better than it really is and utterly lacking in artistry. The decor is quirky in a huge cavernous vault kind of way that almost makes you forget it's a nationwide chain of mega sports bars. The DJ station and video control booth looks like CNN Center in Atlanta, There's so much elbow room. And best of all, there are ten competition sized pool tables in pristine shape available to rent by the hour. Back in the day when San Francisco had big pool halls this was one of my least favorite, but it's nearly the last one left so let's give them some credit for holding out. Don't expect an open pooltable on a busy night, even when the rest of the establishment is empty the tables can fill up.
