A massive, three-story former theater, you can take a deep look into multiple rooms, with different types of music in each room. An area for eating / pizza, large bathrooms on the basement level, and an entry space with the coat check.  Large stairs and no elevator that I could see, so definitely not for the handicapped. There's quite a bit of posing (how is it that Jersey girls and Brooklynites are so fittingly stereotyped in the line here?) in the lines, and during Halloween there's always a bunch of fun costumes. But the cover and the lines aren't necessarily worth it, in my opinion. Drinks are moderately expensive. Most fun floor was the main floor which was almost empty and filled with 80's music. The fellow dancers were fun and relaxed, no one was crushed and there wasn't a bad selection of music. Bottom floor was hip-hop, upper floors were a mixed version of electronic/house and other music. Lots of younger than 21- during some nights, too.

Tongue & Groove is sure to disappoint. First off, I think between the time when they closed and reopened, they must have picked up a HUGE ego. Last night, (Thursday) me and 2 of my guy friends were in line and the bouncer said something you may here in Chicago, Miami, NY, or LA. He says, "you guys need to have girls with you to get in". The funny thing is I saw some of the fake Atlanta mover and shakers there who have friendships with Bartenders, so they do not tip well or even go as far to spend to much money on drinks. They just really wanted to be seen. The funny thing is my friend usually never leaves a bar with no less than a $150 tab. So how does tongue and groove plan to make money this summer? As far as ladies, this is not fair and I am sure some form of discrimination, but you have to really be a 10 with a super short skirt to get in judging by the type of women they were letting in. We took our business to Aiko and had a blast. I would give this place two thumbs down

this is an amazing club. for what it's worth, i think that this has to be the most amazing club atlanta has ever seen. what i enjoy is the versatility of the place. you can party in the main room on the dance floor or up in VIP. the VIP area is so cool; you feel like you are actually in old world opera boxes, (with modern day amenities of course.) if you are hot, or want to go hear house music you can go outside, cool off and enjoy the midtown skyline. there is also the back room that used to be the gallery but is in the process of becoming a 3rd dance floor! i can't wait till that opens. this club delivers an experience. i give this 5 stars; love it!
