Oh my gawd.... soooo good. Make a reservation! We didn't, so we were told to wait 30-45 minutes, but after our sad faces, they decided to try and accomodate us by taking in one of their tiny tables from outside and set 4 chairs around it. We were fine w/ being cramped... the food made up for it, and it was easier to hear each other's conversations. We shared the crab/avacado dish (the taste was perfect, but I think the avocado was a little too hard and should have ripened for one more day), lamb salad (I'm not a fan of lamb, although, I did try one bite, and I admit it's the best lamb I've eaten... still wouldn't eat it again though), chicken curry w/ couscous (awesome!), plantains (the sauce that goes w/ it is sweet and tangy... a good addition, but I can happily eat plantains by it's lonesome), and curried shrimp (maybe a little too sweet or coconutty?, but worth a try). We each had two rounds of our fave drinks (little baobob & hibiscus margarita)... so good & so cheap! I love it. And, to top it off, we dug into a warm brownie a la mode. That night couldn't have gotten better. The cool guy who sat us even gave us free admittance back in for dancing. And, my friend commented that our bill entailed we were cheap dates... I'm cool with that.

Southern style food meets elegant dining. Imagine traditional food served on fine china, presented with flair on with white table clothes. I love it. To start, they served biscuits and cornbread on the table in a cloth wrapped basket. And as a vegetarian (not so much of a good thing when trying to eat good southern food), they had the most amazing veggie plate with fried okra, beans, green tomatoes, etc. And on the side was the most amazing pot of truffled mac & cheese. I've been there twice now. Every time I go out to ATL for business, I try to swing by and get a little classy southern food fix.
