by Karen F. on We had a very fine meal here YEARS ago and it is truly a great place for this neighborhood. Irish bar/pub grub and good, stiff drinks and chilled pints. Our waitress was very nice and friendly ther night we were there. Would definitely go back - but I am not in Sunnyside all that much nowadays.
by Mary Grace V. on Since 'Elbo Room' was a complete bust, we decided to go here for dancing. Came here with Juliane, Steven, Linh, and Curtis on Friday night. Parking wasn't too bad, however, it takes a "skilled" eye to find pretty good parking! =P There's usually a cover charge after 10pm ($10) but the bouncer let the girls in for free. Sorry boys, if only you were girls. LOL! Drinks are fairly expensive. $44 for 3 Henny shots, making it almost $15 a shot. Is that normal now?!?! My goodness. Whatever, had a free Patron shot (yummm) and a Cosmo!! And I was still good to go, wee!! Crowd was diverse. Music was tolerable with that old-old-old HipHop sound. And a big ass fan to cool me down while I dance. Hmmm, kinda powerful but alright. I suggest going to the bar in the back since its not as busy. And even though the lounge area (the "middle" area) was "reserved", everyone was too drunk to even check.. Nice right?! Soo.. go ahead, SIT DOWN! LOL.
by Amada Tolzmann on Got there and there was a line that would make anyone reconsider. But we stuck to it and managed to get a great table. Their Taco's were really good, enchilada..not so. But I've never had one that has made me stop in place. A friend of ours ordered some fried avocado thing and it was pretty awesome. Gotta remember to ask him what it was. Service was pretty good. They kept up on us really well. There was totally a college centered crowd there too but that's alright, man i had a good time.
