I know I'm not so young anymore but this place was genuinely bad on the night I went there. It's good for some but the crowd alone left more to be desired. The only savings grace was that I was there with some very excellent friends. The line was unnecessary, the space was small, the clientele tried to pick a severely unnecessary fight w a person in our party and then to top it off... there was not one but two fashion shows that interrupted my dancing. The fashion was faux, as were the models, and some were modelling t-shirts. Really? At one point the sound just kinda went out then came back on but really loud and then not so loud but loud and fuzzy and I just wanst sure why I had even bothered to head out. If you are ok with all of those things, then this is the place for you, but for someone like myself who enjoys dancing, a good drink and good hassle free, respectful and reasonable times with friends its a sure miss!

Another DineLA stop of mine, I've heard many good things about this place.  So glad to have the chance to check this place out (thanks Chris!). The entrance is very inconspicuous and that theme pretty much runs throughout the establishment.  The server's door to the back is masked but their kitchen is left WIDE OPEN for all patrons to see.  It's amazing to see all the cooks and chefs prepping and cooking our dishes. The staff and servers are VERY attentive (I give them an A+ for service), they made sure our wine glasses were full ALL THE TIME, I never once had to touch the bottle to refill my glass.  They are also very knowledgeable in the wine pairings with their dishes of the day. As part of DineLA, I chose the following dishes: -Tataki of American Wagyu Skirt, Morocccan Spiced Vegetable -Wild Mushroom Risotto, Castlemango Cheese, New Olive Oil, Lemon Thyme -XIV Classic Root Beer Float with cookies The Tataki Wagyu Skirt was mouth-watering...meat was cooked to medium rare, and just leaves your mouth tingling from the flavor.  Good pick for DineLA.  As for the Wild Mushroom Risotto, yum!!  It's actually quite filling, believe it or not.  The portion may not see so much, but the consistency makes up for it.  I savored every bite. As for the classic Rootbeer float, it was OK.  It's a rootbeer float! It was definitely an experience coming here.  The service was impeccable and the courses were absolutely divine.  Worth checking out.

Really enjoyed the music at this bar. They have a large area to dance and pretty good bands. Also even when they are packed you can get a drink. I also didn't feel like I was at a highschool party or a nursing home. This bar offers a happy medium (I'm 31). It can be loud in back by the band though, so if you want to talk get a table out front by the bar. We girls danced all night while the guys played video games. We all had a good time.

(I am downgrading it to 4 stars.  I didn't have a good time last time.  I still this think this is a very chill place to come with your girl, and just make out in one of those beds.  Not a good place for socializing, as people are not that friendly). I like this club a lot. Why?   I don't know.  I shouldn't,  but I really like it.    The music is good, mostly soft house.  Dancable 2/3 of the time.  It has a very eruopean feel,  (it originated from London). People look good.  The whole place is bright  (white) and lighted well, so you actually can see people's faces, and unlike some dark clubs, there are no suprises when the "ugly lights" come out at the end othe night. This place attracts an interesting crowd.  Good looking people, wierd people,  etc.   But I have had a good experience in here.  The only thing is that the people are not the friendliest bunch, and it is not the greatest place to strike up a convo. Warning:  If you are semi-tired, and you sit down on one of those beds, you might find yourself falling asleep.  (if the music is right). P.s. Never tried the dinner-entertainment thing, which costs about $60 per person.  (too much for me).
