We had drinks here before a show Sunday night. I really like it in here. I like how you can smell that fryer as soon as you hit the door. I like the general attitude, beer selection, electrical problems in the rest rooms, beer selection (except Boddingtons sometimes attracts the Brits). Friggin excellent deck. Never seen the bot but can't wait. Not much of an Irish pub- but I would love it if this place were in my neighborhood.

This is a place you go for the experience more than the food. We were there on a Friday night for Dine About Town. Three courses -- an asparagus and frisee salad, fish, and vanilla ice cream with berries and something sweet and crumbly. First course came out for us (upstairs) around 8:30, and subsequent courses about an hour apart. The food was OK, but I was still hungry by the time we left. You're sitting on beds, and the tables basically hold just drinks, so your plate is on your lap. As for the experience... plan on it being an all-night experience -- we got there at 7:30 and didn't leave until 11:45. The place is dim, but has that soft purple/red/white light glow, and beds were super comfy, especially the pillows. The Awesome Gay Blue Bunny made his rounds and entertained/humped/teased everyone before the food came out, and then in between courses, there was a contortionist. The music was a good house mix, but then somewhere in between the salad and main, someone needed a body shot, and then it was AC/DC, Journey, and Bon Jovi at ear-splitting volume. Ugh. I did quite enjoy the contortionist, though. There was plenty of entertainment provided by the clientele, too. The large party of late 30something high-maintenance Marina girls and one guy sitting to the right of us entertained us early on with their "Oh my god! Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!" and big hugs. Then they were taking pictures of themselves kissing (no doubt bound for Facebook). Oh, there was also the pointy dance and a spilled glass of red wine. I could have done without the large woman jumping next to us. Damn girl, if you weigh 200 pounds, I don't want you jumping in my bed! Overall, it was fun, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

I went here for my friend's birthday party and I had a great time! They bars on opposite ends of the club so getting a drink is very accessible. There are tons of available seats so you don't have to buy a booth. And even if you do buy a booth, they have options that aren't too ridiculously expensive to split with a couple of friends. Moreover, the club had a really chill atmosphere. It wasn't a hole in the wall but it wasn't extremely fancy either. All in all I had a good time.
