This review focuses mainly on the sky lounge. This place is alright by me. Bring women, because they tend to love the kitsch. I'm not -trying- to be sexist at all here, so it's that much more pleasant that I'm succeeding. Ha! Drinks are made well, if only a bit small - tall glasses fool the eyes. Also, you know, drunkenness can make that next drink look a little bigger than it actually is, in the same way it can make that next girl look smaller than she actually is. The bar service can take a bit on the long side, but that's the price of being a popular joint on a Thu/Fri/Sat night. They'll get to you as quickly as they can, so be patient. Pro-tip: Bring yo friends. Like Public House, I rarely meet people here who are interested in talking to anyone they didn't already enter with. Maybe I emit a funny smell, or perhaps I should stop punching people in the face when I meet them.

Whoa...I forgot to review this junkyard! haha My cousin is pretty blunt when it comes down to describing certain spots. He warned me about this place back when it was ...I believe it was called Prive or something? Telling me about girls getting booked and whatnot. So when my friends invited me to this place a couple years ago, I was kind of excited to see what a "booking club" was made of. I went with 3 of my girlfriends and we had no problem getting in for free...Not sure if we were even on the guestlist but YAY FOR FREE CLUBS! We met up with one of our guy friends and hung out at his table the entire night. Here goes the people watching: In front of us, there was a table with a bunch of dudes. The waiters kept pulling girls to their tables and you can tell some of them were scared shitless but still sat down and drank with the boys. Some girls sat down and chatted away (you can tell they were used to this sort of thing or they come here a lot for freebies )...Some of the girls who were brought to the tables were rejected. WOW. I look around and noticed ALMOST ALL OF THE TABLES were filled with just guys. Really boys??? Are you guys tired of calling those 1-800 numbers and finally decided to have a bros night out?? My personal experience: Here I am, a rather tanned Chinese girl, walking around the club minding my own business when this waiter comes up and grabs my arm. My initial response would've been to kick his ass but being this was a booking club, I immediately grabbed his arm and said NO and walked off. A few minutes later, we decided to go to the dance floor to get our groove on when the same fucking waiter comes up to me again and grabs my arm once again. I looked at him and said, "I have a boyfriend (which I didn't at that time)," shook him off and walked away. So we're on the dance floor, having some fun and the SAME FUCKING WAITER comes up to me and pleads me to go with him. I grabbed one of my guy friends and tell him that he was my boyfriend so he walked away. For a second there, I thought he forgot he had came to me before so I brushed it off till I realized I was the ONLY tanned girl in there so how the hell would he have not recognized me??!! ...and you would think he stopped at this point...but NOOOOOOO.. I went to the restroom and as I was walking back to my table, the waiter...yes..the SAME SONOFABITCH...came up to me again in front of this table and once again, tried to persuade me to go with him. I look up and realize it was that damned table in front of me that kept requesting me--never seen a tanned Chinese girl before or what??-- so I gave them the look of death and walked away...The waiter stopped bugging me soon after. Drinks were watered down. How would I know this? I don't drink much and even so the drinks here seemed weak to me... Music was good. People watching was fun. But being treated like a prostitute---NEGATIVE. I'm a little shocked I didn't kick his ass after the 2nd time...

Love this place! It's fun, loud, and the waitstaff keeps me laughing. B/c of the co-ed bathrooms, I actually got to use the bathroom with a cute guy. He was gay, but does that matter? I actually made the comment, "I'm a gay man trapped in a woman's body b/c I love showtunes!", and w/o skipping a beat ,our waiter says, "Aren't we all, honey!".
