Mix, I love you so hard right now. This is another one of my favorite pregame/day drinking spots. Great location, outdoor seating, and lots of great (I'm not lying) food. My favorites on their menu: - Hawaiian pizza - Mix fries (the ones with seared jalapenos and onions on top) - Wings (they're breaded!) - Lots of beer to wash it all down The sandwiches I've had here are also good, if not memorable. They also consistently have very friendly waitresses/hostesses. And because I'm a dirty old man, that totally raises the score. Come here around 6pm, get a few slices and a couple beers, then go out on the town and get tore up. Pro-tip: Bring a pack of your mintiest gum, and swallow an Altoid whole after eating any of the pizza here, because they load their crusts with garlic. This tastes awesome, but women don't find garlic breath as attractive as one might think.

OK so I went for a friends birthday, I would not have been there other wise.. Not too into the club scene, this one was nice though. HOWEVER! The main room and the main dance floor is waaaaaaaaaaaay too small, makes me claustrophobia trying to hang out and have a good time with all those skeezy toolbags trying to grab your butt and dance with you.. The venue is nice, but cramped until I realized there was another room (Which only played house and techno) that no one really ventured into. Ok now let me go on my rant about how S**TTY these bartenders are, I pay for the service I get, if you're a dick, you are gonna get tipped crappy, sorry thats the way it works if you don't like it then suck it! I really think though if you are gonna work in an industry where you service customers DON'T have a bad attitude, I don't care how cute you are DON'T suck at life!!! I sat there for 20 minutes, bartenders looked directly at me and others but instead decided to skip over us and serve the douche bags saturated in cologne and Ed Hardy, whom I might add DID NOT tip!!! Probably won't come back, EPIC FAIL

I'd never been to Bubble Lounge till last night, but was really impressed. The space is beautiful, and I loved the little alcove downstairs, where the Yogathon team charmed everyone. (Connie C. Miriam W. and Jill K - you rock!) The front patio was an excellent touch and it was fun to see people socializing in the front area, with bubbling champagne and smiles. The lighting was lovely: dark with a nice glow, accentuating the Rateclub crowd and spacious lounge area, which was perfect for casual mingling. The finger food couldn't have been better. Definitely not your ordinary bar food. The sandwiches were big, with fresh avocado and really tasty. So good, that I had to eat them while checking people in (OK - only for the first five minutes...I'm a professional!) Talking in between bites: "And you name is?...." Lookin over at Richard "This is one good sandwiii...." " Oh sorry....are you a guest of....?" And now for the little details (which can make a big difference!): 1.) Major props for serving excellent fruit. The grapes and strawberries were perfect and fresh. 2.) And of course the bathroom. A bathroom is always a testimonial of a well run establishment. Large, bright, clean - and my favorite - no line - perfect for some mirror faces and a quick "cute check" before heading back out to enjoy the rest of the great night... But....to make this review a true experience - I'll be sure to update once I go during the week/weekend - rather than just a Rateclub Elite event.
