by Brandon M. on It pains me to see Trudy's with anything short of a 5. If there were a 6th star, I would give it to them. I've been a patron of Trudy's for over 20 years. Although the staff has turned over a hundred times, the food has remained consistently excellent. The place is just cool. The specials are excellent. Even if the food isn't your thing, you won't find a better crowd to grab a mexican m Thank you Trudys for the decades of pleasure you have offered me!!
by Tommy P. on Came here this past weekend after a homegirl hooked up some buy one get one free drink cards. First impression was that this place is pretty fuckin swank. Feelin the chic furnture pulled up to the fireplace (although it's one of those fireplaces that couldn't keep you warm in the summer) and the layout of three different areas. Ordered some cocktails to start and all of em were pretty good. I can't remember the names of em but I do remember liking the one I had with agave nectar and tequila. After that we all split a couple of seafood platters which were hella good but I really didn't feel like they were worth 27 dollars each. Would definitely come back to check out a happy hour here. Welcome addition to the neighborhood.
by Liz Prem on I went last Saturday it was Hydro night I think, not my scene. The music was cool, the crowd wasn't that great. The place I am sure could look better but this night it was a mess. I have heard its a good venue for a concert or hip hop music, I might go again later on. There was no cover the night I went, not sure if this occurs all the time.
