It was a girlfriend's birthday and she loves a good glass of bubbly. A group of us (4 hungry and thirsty gals) were having dinner later at a nearby restaurant and wanted to take her somewhere swanky for champagne before dinner. Luckily we found this place! We popped in at 6:45pm on a Saturday night. All of the tables had a "reserved" sign on and for the first time in my entire adult dining years, I forgot to make reservation. Fortunately for us, the hostess was kind enough to seat us at a table after I told her we'd only be there for an hour tops. The seats are actually the oversized, comfy velvet couches and each table has one couch on each side. The champagne book is enormous and very, very intimidating, so instead of attempting to even try to find a bottle we asked our awesome server who recommended a bottle in 5 seconds flat. Moet and Chandon Nectar. We absolutely LOVED it! We also had a few bites: ~Tomatoes, Fresh Mozzarella, Basil, Olive Oil on Toasted Baguette - extremely fresh and tasty ~Parmesan and Fontina "Cheese Puffs" with Rosemary and Sea Salt - light and airy with an amazing cheesy taste I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to swank it up with a hot date, or a group outing, whilst titillating your tastebuds with fizzy, alcoholic goodness.

This place is ok if you come during the week. Largest order of fresh cut fries you'll ever get for $3. Good for after work drinks if you're with a large group- since there is a lot of seating. Food otherwise is ok bar food-large portions etc. Come on a Friday, and you may be dissapointed the music is so loud you can't have a conversation...but if you're into screaming conversation and poor service...

If you're looking for hip hop, a dress to impress crowd, and a good dance floor...this is not the place. Don't be deceived by the long line and expensive drinks into thinking this is a hip club or lounge. I was shocked to go inside and find people wearing flip flops and backpacks on a Friday night! If I'm in the area again, I will definitely head towards any of the bars/lounges in central square instead.
