Fun place with an interesting history. Down side is the random location. Plus side is that there was no problem grabbing a seat to eat dinner at 8 on a Saturday night. What's going to bring me back is the crowd, the crayons and the fact that my friends and I got to reminisce all evening to a great selection of 90s rock (think Oasis and Blur).

The best friend and I were visiting my brother up in San Fran, so we wanted to hit the nightlife. Some kids recommended this club, so we decided to hit it up. The place is pricey and disgusting, I'm not sure how people continue to go there. Then there were old gross men.. literally old.. as in their 50's... which was creepy as they weren't even good looking. The only thing that really caught my eye was one of the bartenders... thats it! Other than that... WE WONT EVER EVER GO BACK TO THAT CRAPPER, and I'd recommend not to even waste your time.

I went up from Jamaica Plain to meet friends at the Middlesex. I was definitely disappointed when I got there. I mean, the interior decor is really nice but just the idea of stand in one big room like that just made me uneasy. I mean, there's no stage or any break in the flow of the room and the ceiling is pretty high. So in terms of the environment I didn't like it that much. The drinks were moderately priced and the bartenders were attentive. The crowd wasn't my favorite...actually it was probably people I've seen at other bars but everyone seemed a lot more pretentious there. Maybe it's the environment? And it took so long for people to start dancing, it was ridic. I would definitely pass this place up. Much more interesting, relaxing places to go in Boston.
