by Jennie K. on Modern, loungey, nice. Went for dessert and drinks with the girls, but it turned into apps and 1 drink since our waiter was quick to bring the check. Witty when around, but not around much. The Cynar Blood Orange was good, don't expect to be tipsy over it. The assorted cheese plate was okay, the fig puree was one of the best things on the plate. Friends approved of the tuna tartar (served on flatbread, rather unusual) and of the frozen chocolate mousse. I would have loved to try more off the menu, but alas, I was hurried out of the restaurant. Fast enough that I probably won't be back.
by Brynn C. on The atmosphere at Coda is amazing! The food is decent, but nothing spectacular so I probably wouldn't go for dinner again. I will, however, go back many times for the on tap wine (which is cheaper because they can buy it by the barrel from wine country) and amazing music. I went on a Wednesday night when they had Jazz and it was very relaxed, not too crowded and everyone actually listening to the music instead of trying to talk over it. I completely recommend this place for people that like to listen to good music and have a couple drinks.
by Damien Every on Went there on a Thursday nite just to check it out as a bumped across the funky cool name somewhere. Very cozy little spot that had live jazz band and even a little spoken word. Good place to meet new people for casual conversations. Got there a little late and only had chance to get one glass of wine and hear the last 2 songs from the band....that was good enough. For now, don't have too much to say about it, but so far it is a place worth visiting again....this time I will be there much earlier for a full intake.
