by Alexis Hemmeke on I'll only come back for bottle service, since maneuvering across the overly crowded dance floor and waiting forever at the bar was just not worth it! Not to mention the ridiculous male to female ratio requirement on top of a cover charge. They are super strict with the guestlist too, cutting it off at the first 10 people in line, at least 10 minutes before their stated guestlist closing time. And um, the guestlist is not even free, just reduced from $20 to $10. -I would say the crowd is kind of mixed, but predominantly Asian/Hispanic. -I don't think a dress code was enforced either because I saw some ghetto looking dudes. -Drinks & shots are pricey at around $10 each. +I do like the decor and layout of the club...so your experience would probably be much better with a table. +They have go-go dancers here that are actually hot! A bit reminiscent of Vegas, which is always a good thing in my book :)
by anthony c. on Walking into Cielo you kind of feel mature and ooze a sexual vibe. Great dj's play house music sure to keep you on the dance floor. Cielo is a very small, stylish, sleek, intimate venue with a fashionable yet relaxed clientele. There is usually a cover to get in and drinks are kinda pricey but if you're in the mood for this kind of place and enjoy house music I recommend Cielo at least once. There is a outdoor space for you smokers and the bathrooms are also really nice offering high-end colognes, perfumes and candy if you feel the need to freshen up--with a tip of course. Basically you get what you pay for.
by Blaine Danny on The Winter Garden is one of many restaurants / nightclubs on Brighton Beach. If it weren't for the office party, I would've never gone there. But once there, I was happy I'd come. As with all nightclubs, the place is a regular restaurant by day. The food isn't very cheap, but not the most expensive either. However, when the place turns into a nightclub, a minimum charge comes into effect. I was definitely happy that the boss was paying. The one thing that makes this restaurant stand out is its show. Not sure whether this is a regular show or whether the performance changes from day to day: the show I was lucky to see was beautifully choreographed, well performed, and very, very sexy. In places, the tastefully raunchy floor show reminded me of Moulin Rouge.
