I'm probably in the minority here for suggesting that you definitely pay more for the atmosphere - edgy and modern interior, HOT staff, having a good time with your friends, and the service, than the actual food itself. Not to say that it was bad, far from it actually. I enjoyed my plain jane scramble (eggs / white cheddar / chives) with bacon and potatoes, and since everyone else pretty much ordered the frittata, I took a bite for myself and found out why it's such a popular item. I also really liked the biscuits with the perfect texture, slightly crispy top and fluffy inside (eat it with the blackberry jam; tastes like a Pop-Tart). I'd say that it's pretty much basics as far as actual breakfast food goes. But they do them well. And it's always nice to be drunk at 10:30 in the morning.

I used to give this place 4 stars, but now its down to 3 because last time we went, the line was so long (before 11!), no way I was standing around to get into an overcrowded poorly air conditioned place. Plus the bouncers sucked. That's what happens when the line is too long... If you want this kind of joint, go to Avalon. _____________________________________________ Ehhh. Okay is overall rating. Went there for an Infected Mushroom concert, so don't know typically how much it would cost. Liked: 1) Main dance floor fairly big, fit a few hundred, but not as big as Avalon. 2) Couches on the side. 3) Another small dance floor. Music was really not great, but no one was on the floor that night, so can be fun with the right group. Seating there again couches. Can't get water at the small bar associated with that floor. Didn't like: 1) Can't see the DJ spinning. 2) Lights not all that great. 3) Unless you are right under the vent, you're going to be very hot in the crowd. 4) Main floor bar can be a bit crowded. Don't know about drink prices because I didn't pay that night. Got free cups of water when needed (of course, a tip is nice and keeps it coming I think).

I loved the vibe of this cafe. So crowded but the service was bizarrely fast. I am here to give my own personal testimony. The New England Clam Chowder is out of this world, baby! Really. I was tempted to get another bowl to go. I also got the Italian Chef salad, which was OK. I'm a little spoiled by amazing salads Ive had elsewhere, and this one didn't impress me as much as I hoped that it would. All in all, great place to lunch for the Anderson lane crowd. I will stop by again. I need to get my clam chowder fix on!
