The prices are good (especially when they have a scoutmob), the slices are huge and I've never tried anything that I didn't like. The fact that we can order it on a late night at work or just for lunch is an added bonus. If you live, work, play in the downtown area and are looking for pizza. This is worth checking out.
by euge l. on so at last weeks rocket dog, el rio dyl, i ran into an old friend and his housemate, two of Rateclubs newest members, kevo and hodaka. thinking we commandeered enough cash from people for the sf food bank raffle, we decided to try out a different spot. we tried to get a table at cha cha chas, but shit, we couldnt even get a spot to stand in. we walked down the block to find any random bar and ran into brunos. whoa, swanky. looks like a spot pops would been smoking a cigar and drinking remy with his gansta buddies back in the day. it was pretty dead inside so we figured why the hell not. we sat down on this long communial table in the middle of the joint. there was this nice older couple in front of us. cut and pasted from kevos review. "We asked....actually Euge asked the waitress to come by every 5 minutes with drinks and come by she did. Euge regaled us with tales of his youth. We teased Hodaka. Drank and oogled the Russian mail order brides across the table from us. Prior to the oogling we discussed, in depth: 1) racial discrimination, 2) Asians as 3rd class citizens. 3) 40 years of Japanese oppression in Korea. 4) Korean vs. Japanese penis size. 5) Motorcycles and riding. 6) How the Mission has changed. 7) Anal sex. 8) SF's HRC, MWBE, DVBE, and public works bidding. And 9) Rateclub. We discussed all these things with an older couple across the table from us. I'm surprised they stayed so long. " thats gotta be a good time. THEY HAVE A PATRON MACHINE?!?!? i have no idea what thats for, but shit, thats just cool man.
