by Chris F. on Tongue&Groove is a breath of fresh air. Can you imagine being under the same roof with so many different cultures and everyone getting along?! Salsa is a weakness and I'm only 3 min walking distance so I'm in heaven, it beats all those other night clubs. After experiencing this establishment I don't care to much for the Urban spots, the drinks are pretty pricey; but they are worth it! Wednesday nights is seriously the deal.
by Michelle A. on What's not to like about Delux?! I had a tasty turkey burger, which was nicely seasoned (you know turkey burgers can be on the dry side). We had the mixture of sweet potato fries and regular fries, which come with that yummy sauce. We sat at that long middle table, which is awesome with the lights (loved the under table hooks for purses..nice touch). Quick service, fun place-good food. Love the late hours-it's not easy to find late dining in Phoenix.
by Floyd Hagglund on Bordello. How I love thee! Having said that, let's start with a few things I did not like so much. Bordello needs some air inside!!!! It got so crowded and there was no air at all. Ugh. Definitely annoying. Smoking area. Come on. We're in LA. They should invest a little money having a smoking area/patio but that's just my two cents. It was kind of annoying walking in and out of the front door with people looking at you like "were you in here already?" Driving up, you would not think that this area would have a bar that this Hollywood girl would fall in love with!!! It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside and it's in a pretty dead neighborhood (at least at night). You go in and WOW! It's red, the decor is beautiful, the little private room is just inviting and sexy, the burlesque show was too cute, and they played good 80's music to dance to. Am I really an 80's music kind of girl when it comes to dancing? Not really, but they gave me something to shake to. The burlesque girls were so cute. Some of it was really cheesy but overall, very cute and sassy! The guestlist girls, bartenders, and hosts were all nice and friendly too. I love all the red in the bar!!!!!!! It was packed, everyone danced, and everyone drank. It definitely got hot and sultry in there! Hmm... this is a better venue for me to choke my Sandra, instead of the bougee Hollywood club :) LOL
