by jey o. on Ok, I jumped on the groupon bandwagon. Thought $35/dinner for 2 was a great deal on a restaurant that had over 1,000 reviews and averaging 4 stars! It was alright, not bad, not great. Just not what I expected. It's probably awesome for brunches. But, I was hoping for a nice dinner. Instead it was a club type atmosphere with LOUD music and ok dinner. When I signed up for this groupon offer I thought prix fixe dinner meant the ones I've ordered before where you have options for appetizer, entreee, dessert. Instead, they tell you what is included when you arrive. I actually wasn't in the mood for grilled cheese and mini burgers. I agree with the other groupon reviewer that it seemed on the greasy/unhealthy side. I also thought it wasn't enough food for 2 people. I had to order another shrimp dish too. Waiter was great. Place seemed cool if I was going to dinner with a group before barhopping but just not what I wanted on a Wed night. Should have read some of the rateclubs reviews before I guess.
