The tickets here are usually expensive, but you'll definitely get to see some shows that's never offered anywhere else in town. The only downside is that tickets tend to be expensive ($25+). The fact that it is in the Tenderloin shouldnt scare you-- it's pretty much in nob hill...

San Fran Bakery has got to be one of the best sandwich places in all of Austin! They use extremely fresh ingredients and really make hearty, mouth-watering sandwiches. They have a wide variety of specialty sandwiches and you even can make your own if you like. I especially enjoy their fresh bread. They also serve great soups. Their chili in a bread bowl is highly recommended on cold days! If you go, make sure to order a cream cheese danish and get them to warm it up for you, you will not be disappointed. They have great employees who are always courteous and bring out your food extremely quickly.

Someone who didn't know me very well told me that I look like one of those hipsters that hangs out at the Bubble Lounge and I really had no idea what he was talking about until yesterday. Is this a place for hipsters? No. Is it a place for yuppies? Definitely, judging by the prices of the libations. I went there for a work function and fell head over heels for the bubblicious, which is a concoction of proseco, peach liqueur and peach nectar aka a bellini to most people. I'm a lover of Bellini and I've order them everywhere from Cortona to Puerto Vallarta but this is best I've ever tried. The funny thing is in Cortona they had no idea what my Italian boyfriend was talking about so they gave me one glass of spumante and another of peach juice. Being the classy gal that I am I used two straws to slip from the the two sundae ice cream sized glasses simultaneously. The Mexican experience wasn't as comical as it only involved a slice of pineapple, a cherry and a ubiquitous umbrella cocktail topper. Oh yeah, back to the review, so I'm giving the bubble lounge a four for doing the best bellini I have ever had.
