by Nancy B. on Love this place, the baked goods are insanely good- don't miss the chocolate croissants. Sourdough bread is as good as any I've ever had (and I moved to Austin from SF....). Favorite is the BLT with avocado. At lunch don't miss the cream of whatever it is soup. The cream base they use is very tasty.
by Jeraldine Garcilazo on Steven Starr must have been "the" guy to know in college because the decor in these restaurants makes me think he has done his fair share of mind altering, ah, "enhancements" Great brunch, and eating delicious pumpkin waffles while in a swinging bird cage, well that is good enough for me!
by John B. on Needed a place where 20, 30,40,50 somethings would have a good time and this was it. Most of the people I've talked haven't been here b/c the entry doesn't look very entertaining ( I think it's next to a Jack in the box). Well, get over it. We got a table in front of the stage and watched a guy jam on his electric guitar for an hour and a half straight. The drinks were fine, food was tasty but the small plates really are small plates so we left a tad bit hungry. Overall, the atmosphere rocked, thanks mostly to the guys playing. I'll go there every once in a while but can't afford to check it out every week. With the cover and 2 drink minimum it can add up. I say check it out.
