Got there at 10:05 and had to pay a cover. I guess it is a bar pretending to be a club during the nighttime hours. As such, not a stellar club experience, if that is what you are looking for. Even bar/loungewise, if you just want to chill, you can't because the lights are dark and the music is loud. There are pool tables, darts, video games and a ping pong table to amuse yourself with. Didn't have to wait long at the bar for drinks, which is always a plus. Ventilation is TERRIBLE. The dance room played undanceable music at the beginning of the night, but better music towards the end. Soooo many people though, and way too hot and sweaty. The smoking patio is wicked small as well, and is packed wall to wall with smokers. Was not impressed and probably won't ever return. OOooooo, addendum after reading my friend's review. That's right, I was standing by the bar to order drinks and mentioned to a random nearby person that it smells like vomit, and they confirmed that their friend had just puked. I had to let the bartender know. And yes, place is messy and floor was wet everywhere. Definitely unpleasant!

Nice. This place is pretty damn awesome. I know, I know- "awesome" is an over used word, but dammit I'm gonna use it! Let's start with the basics: it's dark, but not so dark you can't see where you're going. The dance floor is open but the stage is still pretty low- allowing you to feel close to the band. Going upstairs allows you to view the band and the crazy ass audience without getting trompled... I've seen a wide array artist at this venue and I must say... each one has been awe- no! wonderful. phew. the acoustics are good- but not amazing. Me likes.

I was really impressed with our visit to Top Flr. Having never heard of it, we were invited by a couple friends for dinner. There is a downstairs bar, which we didn't get to sample, however it was quite busy. Not exactly surprising given it was a Sat. night. First thoughts upon entering the upstairs restaurant was, "wow, this place is incredibly small!" The restaurant seats approx. 36 however they appear to make great use of their space. Choice wallpaper, seating and fixtures quickly take your eye off the size of the place and immediately gives you a feeling of stylish intimacy. Enough about the space- to the food! Virtually all of their menu items appeared appetizing so it made for a difficult time in choosing what to have. Our four top settled on sharing the white bean hummus, which was decent, not amazing, and the edamame, which was up to par with what would be expected (hard to mess up edamame). For dinner, I had the salmon as an entree, and the mac 'n cheese and lebanese couscous. Both were very good and the portions were just right. I sampled the fiance's pork tenderloin, which was great, and a friend's hanger steak which was very tender and tasty. Overall a very pleasurable experience and highly recommended for a try.
