Went there on June 11th, 2009 for Visionshock's Thursday night~~ got there around 10:30~~ isn't many people at the dance floor yet~~ i heard there's 4 or 5 floor~~ so i went upstairs ( only the lower portion was open for clubbing ) n on the very top i saw a sushi bar~~ was open still , they open till 11~~ the chef was SUPER NICE!! n decent looking ^o^ he gave me some free treats~~ n then my Promoter friend.. Kerry~~ ( very good promoter~~ for visionshock~~ ) told me to order BUTTER CRAB HANDROLL ... omg it is soooooooooooo good!! I Would give the butter crab handroll a 5 star~~ n round 11:30 i finished all the food n went back downstairs~~ better crowd~~ my friend said its decent for a Thursday night.. but i wouldn't know.. rarely go out thursday night~~ only on weekends .. but i guess i went there too late n they didn't have too many choices for the foods~~ i wanted tamago !! but chef said he didn't have any anymore~~ Q ________ Q i'll def go back again~~ during normal business hours n try out the other dishes~~~

I've been going to Little Baobab for a long time, for the food, but mainly for the dancing and nightlife. It's the best little hole in the wall dance joint in the city. They used to not have a cover, but then it'd get so crowded you couldn't move. 5 bucks is what they charge now, but that's still cheap. It still gets crowded as hell though; but that's part of the charm. If you don't mind rubbing elbows and knees with your fellow dancers then this is the place for you. They play great music, mainly world, with a strong African emphasis, and the people are fantastic. It's very multi-cultural and international, different people from everywhere and all walks of life, and the vibe is upbeat and non-aggressive. Often people dance by themselves. It's gotta be one of the funnest places to dance and have a good time.

Great place for jazz music and Ethiopian food. Prices were reasonable. We ordered the TIBS WAT, TIBS, KITFO, YEBEG ALECHA, and VEGETARIAN COMBINATION. It was enough to feed all 4 of us and only cost $20 a person. Everything we ordered were full of flavor and delicious! The fun part is that you get to eat with your hands! The flat bread is unlimited so eat as much as you want. The performers were talented and kept the crowd dancing all night long. It's fun place if you're into jazz music and exotic food. I highly recommend it!
