by Jenn L. on Been here twice and I admire their persistent determination for bad customer service. At least they're consistent! On another note they have a good selection of beers on tap. Also the women's restroom is clean, newly redecorated, and has the comforting smell of fresh cut lumber (reference Love C's review). If I had a coke habit I'd definitely want to snort my lines in here while being all warm and fuzzy off the lumber smell. Happy Hour - from 4-7pm, dollar off all drafts and well drinks, special prices on burgers and nachos. Street parking. The waitresses frown on splitting checks. And by frown, i mean they look at you like they want to kick you in the teeth.
by Antoine Braue on As far as lounges go this is definitely one of the nicest ones I've been to either in LA or NY. The place looks like it was transplanted from Victorian England with huge bookshelves, antique chandeliers, velour and leather couches, wooden end tables, curtains, etc... you get the picture. I guess it also helps when your friend knows the owner and gets you the best table for New Years. The service and staff was impecable and everybody had a great time. They also have a pretty decent sized "outdoor" area - its essentially a netted roof 25 feet up in the air so people can smoke. The food we had was actually pretty good but that wasn't the main attraction. The only improvement could have been better music before 10:30pm.
