by Jen G. on I planned a bachelorette/birthday dinner here this past saturday and they couldn't have been more accomodating! From the time I made the reservation thru the end of our dinner, everything went smoothly. It was the bride's birthday weekend so we wanted to have a cake at dinner. The restaurant does not make cakes, but they did allow us to bring one in. They sliced and served the cake at no charge, which to me shows they go the extra mile for their customers. Our watress was fantastic and fulfilled many special requests without hesitation. I wish I had remembered her name to notify the manager what a great job she did. The goat cheese balls were amazing! I love goat cheese, so deep frying it and serving it with honey can only make it better in my opinion. For my entree I ordered the lamb. It lacked flavor, but was cooked very well. I don't think I would order it again if I were to return to Ecco, as the pastas and pizzas looked amazing! All in all, I was very satisfied with the experience and would recommend Ecco without hesitation for any group function!
by laura g. on I remember the first time I went here for a friend's birthday, I got charged some ridiculous cover. A. Your DJ Sucks B. I am a (relatively) cute girl in a sea of dudes C. You use PLASTIC CUPS on your roof D. I have no D WTF with charging a lady to drink a couple glasses of wine? Back in again this past weekend & my friend said her mojito was weak. And they didn't have the dry Rose bubbly I wanted. Bartender said he was on the lookout for a new one, but hook a girl up with something, anything when you disappoint her like that?! This place was dead anyway, so we went to the nearby Make Out Room where we got nice and hammered and Alejandro spun me around the dance floor.
by Ira Stollar on I really like this place. Don't know if it's..... The lush decor? The several bars? The tiered table-seating options with views of the stage? The expansive dance-floor/standing area with a massive mirror ball directly above it? The large, wide and easy-to-see stage which hosts intense and intimate performances (e.g., The Flaming Lips, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra...)? Maybe it's just that I've never had a bad experience here, and I seem to find something new to love every time I go. Wait for a show you really want to see, and go...you won't be disappointed!
