I'll come back for another review when we actually get in after waiting in the cold for an hour and a half... also, to the power-tripping "boss" who handles all the bouncers, don't you dare cut off the line when our group of 4 (even ratio guys and girls too!) is at the FRONT of the line... then TRY TO FEEL ME UP when i'm walking away . GROSS!
by Tracy G. on Like all others, the first thing I need to say is that it is hard to find. I realized where it was because I made an assumption that the crowd I saw was rateclubsers that have been there for the happy hour. (I was running late, I got there at the end of the happy hour period.) There are no signs, I guess you come here after you have been told about Bordello and how to find it. Inside, it was loud and crowded. Honestly not my thing, but if it was I would have had a blast. The decor was beautiful. The bartenders were scantly clad. A feast for the eyes all around.
by Evia Rodeen on I had no idea this place was so fantastic. Sure, I've strolled through the lobby and even had drinks poolside but never have had an excuse to stay here - until New Years Eve 2007. Basic buddies, Justin Gourley & John Do, were DJing the VIP room of the NYE Masquerade party - couple that with performances by Talib Kweli & a DJ set by Bloc Party & you've got a recipe for a kick butt night. Our room was enormous with soft sheets, flat screen TV & Veuve in the mini-bar. Tasty room service PLUS we were able to play music & have some friends over with no trouble at all (I'm sure the staff there would not be thrilled at my mentioning that bit.) The rest of the decor is stunningly done that keeps the history and adds modern amenities. If you have the need for a Hollywood overnight experience, I HIGHLY recommend!
