by Will M. on Although i may be a bit bias due to the fact i play at rise quarterly...But i have played at many different venues around the globe & played with many artists from different parts around the world that have shared the same wonderful experience with me that is known as RISE. 1:30am is when the true Boston dance music scene comes alive. Hands down RISE is without a doubt the pinnacle of Boston dance music nightlife. In a city where House music once reigned but is now flooded with your typical mashup garbage no matter where you go. RISE is a breathe of fresh air i highly recommend checking rise out at least once and making your own judgement.

Came here on a Saturday night for a friends birthday party ... the crowning moment was when they sat him on top of the piano and the entire room sang to him. Something about being a gay mailman. Drinks were delicious and service fast, efficient and cheeky. Next time, I'm totally requesting "I'm bringing sexy back".
by Else Noles on I've never eaten here but I have danced here a couple of times. I've seen Questlove and DJ AM and on both occasions I just danced all night long. I can see why some people complain about getting in and getting drinks but fortunately for me I never experienced those problems. Maybe you should make sure you are on the list or willing to pay, and it would be a good idea to purchase drinks in the basement because it's usually not busy down there.
