Came here on a friday night. It is a new club in hollywood. Use to be called White Lotus 5 yrs ago.. then ritual then Halo.. now it is Colony.. Great ambiance! it's goal was to make it look like the hamptons.. summer beach style. We got here around 11:30, wasn't on the guestlist but walked right in since it was group of girls. It is the typical hollywood crowd.. saw a few reality TV stars and minor movie stars. Really liked how the club looked! Def come back again.. this time drinkin more!

This is a "Must See" when visiting Atlanta and is not far from the MLK site so you can go from one tourist destination to another in about 5 minutes. Note: you should stay away on days when there is a home football game at Georgia Tech (at which time the lines can be twenty deep!). The prices are only slightly higher than McDonalds which ain't bad for being in downtown Atlanta at a tourist attraction. Yes, the food is unhealthy (e.g., deep fried onion rings, non-descript hamburgers, etc.) but I consider it o.k. on occasion. The Frosted Orange really stands out as something unique on their menu. FULL DISCLOSURE: I have blood clots in my lower leg partly due to poor eating habits. There is also car-hop service out back. Nipsy Russell, who was a 2nd tier star on "What's My Line" or "To Tell The Truth" was a car hop here before it made it (or kind of made it) in Hollywood. Go there once to say you've been there.

Ah, Blake's. It's probably the first gay bar visited by a new comer to Atlanta. And that says a lot about Blake's - it's a mainstay, and it attracts a generic and diverse enough crowd to please anyone before they start branching out to more "specialized" locales like Jungle, Hoedown's, wetBAR, Heretic, and the like. Blake's recent renovation of their upstairs area has turned the space into a more open lay out, with a nice central square bar, and large picture windows to...well, the parking lot. But it's a nice feel. However, it's a stark contrast from the dark wood downstairs, with a neutral paint scheme on drywall and some thoughtfully directed lights. So Blake's is now a bar with two vibes - a little more "big metro" upstairs, and more "neighborhood" downstairs. But the drinks are good, the bartenders nice, and the space cozy enough and large enough to accommodate everyone. Blake's is definitely the spot of choice to either start a wild night or have a more relaxed night out with a few friends.
